Must we as establishment owners mark up our rack
rates with your percentage commission?
No, it is essential that you do not mark up your rates to cover
our commission, our policy is that guests booking through 5 Star Stay will not pay more than if they were to go directly to the establishments.
Who is responsible for receiving the payment?
5 Star Stay receives the payment from the guests
and pays the total amount, minus our commission, over to the establishment
prior to the arrival of those guests.
Does 5 Star Stay also require commission
on food, drinks, and/or other services?
We only receive commission on the accommodation, when meals are
included in the rate however; we obviously receive commission on that
too. All drinks and other services are not commissionable by 5 Star Stay.
Does 5 Star Stay contact us via e-mail
or telephone to make or confirm bookings?
We contact you via e-mail to enquire about availability and rates on all
booking requests that come in for your establishment; a quote is sent
to the enquiring guest. Upon confirmation from the guests that they want
to proceed with the booking, we’ll be in touch with you by phone
/ e-mail to confirm the booking.
